To
use the Radio Control Flying Field at 3215
Harrison Road an individual must perform the
following steps.
1.
Obtain a permit receipt from the Rockford Park
District. Permit receipts can be obtained from
the Rockford Park District at the Webbs Normal
Center located at 401 South Main or the Carlson
Ice Arena Satellite Office located at East
Riverside and Perryville. As part of
obtaining your Permit Receipt you must also
present proof of AMA (Academy of Model
Aeronautics) Membership or model plane pilot
general liability naming Rockford Park District
as additional insured with a minimum of
$1,000,000.
Rockford Park District Fee Schedule
$40 - non resident
$35 - resident
$75 - family of three -- $25 for each additional
$25 - age 12 to 18
free - age 11 and under
2.
Take the receipt to a Rock Valley R/C Flyers
Club meeting to obtain a Photo ID. Click on the
"Meetings" bar on the left to find dates, times,
and locations. If you are unable to attend a
Meeting to obtain your photo ID contact the
Membership Director to make special
arrangements. The Membership Director contact
information can be found by clicking on the
"Club Officers" bar on the left.
Note: You must have a Rock Valley R/C Flyers
Photo ID to fly at the Field.
